Finding the 'Joy' in Music

Tea for Harmony

This CCTV News feature documents my guzheng performance at the Tea for Harmony Yaji Cultural Salon, held by the Chinese Embassy in the UK. Bringing together music, tea ceremony and cultural exchange, the event celebrated Chinese cultural traditions in London and highlighted the guzheng as part of a living, contemporary artistic dialogue.

A winner’s speech following my First Prize awards in the National Music and Professional categories, and the Poetic Interpretation Special Prize at the UK International Music Competition 2026.

This recognition reflects my ongoing work as a guzheng artist and my commitment to sharing the instrument on international stages.

Echoes of China

Echoes of China was a Chinese New Year concert celebrating Chinese music, culture and artistic exchange in London. I took part as both a host and guzheng performer, presenting the sound of the guzheng alongside other Chinese artists and performers. The concert was reported by CGTN Europe and China Minutes, highlighting its role in sharing Chinese cultural traditions with wider international audiences.
